Philip Tuyay, Esq.

Philip is an associate attorney practicing in workers compensation cases and civil litigation.  Prior to joining Hitzke & Ferran, LLP, he has represented both injured workers and employers before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board.  He has also represented plaintiffs in Los Angeles Superior Court.  Immediately after graduating from law school, he clerked with the California Department of Transportation’s Legal Department where he was exposed to various practice areas such as personal injury defense, eminent domain, and landlord tenement law.  Philip is a graduate of Southwestern Law School where his later courses emphasized employment law. There he was recognized for completing over 100 hours of pro bono work in the areas of family law and land lord tenant Law.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco.  While there he had a fellowship working with the San Francisco City Attorney’s office.

On his spare time, Philip enjoys documentary film, running, swimming, and cooking.
